The edits people actually make for short video
Most TikTok audio edits are one move, not a session. Faster with the same pitch. Faster and higher, like a tape. Slower and lower, often with reverb. Or the vocal gone so a voiceover can sit on the beat. This page opens on the effects and the speed controls those moves use.
It does not post to TikTok, add captions, or cut the picture. It gives you the audio file. Your camera app or editor still does the video.
Which control is which trend
Start here, then nudge by ear. Do not stack a second slowdown on a file that is already slowed.
| You want | Set | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Faster, same key | 1.10× to 1.25×, keep pitch | Speed |
| Nightcore, higher and faster | 1.25×, tape mode | Nightcore recipe or Speed |
| Slowed and dreamy | 0.85× tape, Space about 45 | Slowed + reverb recipe |
| Soft lofi | 0.92× tape, darker tone, a little space | Lo-fi recipe |
| Just more low end on a phone speaker | Bass up, speed unchanged | Bass knob or the bass booster |
| Voiceover on the beat | Vocal stem muted | Vocal remover |
From a camera roll to a file TikTok will take
Drop the video. If all you needed was the audio, the video to MP3 page does that and nothing else. If you needed the audio changed, do it here and export MP3. Short clips are a better fit than a full song you will trim anyway.
Keep pitch is the one to use when the joke depends on the voice still sounding like that person. Tape mode is the one when the pitch change is the joke.
No upload, including the clip you do not want on a server
The edit runs in the tab. Close it and the clip is gone from memory. There is no account and no queue.
A trend does not clear the song. If you post audio from a record you do not control, that is still their recording. Original voice notes and songs you made are the straightforward case.
