How to use the music visualizer

  1. 1

    Drop a song

Drag in an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or a video, or record from the mic. The file stays on this device.

  2. 2

    Pick a scene

Choose a line, bars, rings or a particle field. Every scene is black and white and moves with the audio.

  3. 3

    Set the frame

Pick 9:16 for a short, 1:1 for a square post, or 16:9 for widescreen. Add a title if you want one.

  4. 4

    Export an MP4

The video is encoded on your device. Download it when the bar finishes. Nothing is sent to a server.

A music visualizer that never uploads the song

Most music visualizer sites upload your track and render the video on a server. AudioDrop draws every frame in the browser and builds the MP4 on the device. Close the tab and the song is gone from memory.

There is no account, no queue and no file-size cap set by us. A phone exports up to three minutes so the page stays responsive. A computer can export a longer song.

Four black and white scenes

The scenes are deliberately quiet. No neon, no colour and no stock gradients. They are meant to sit under a caption or stand on their own.

  • Line: one oscilloscope stroke that follows the waveform.
  • Bars: a 64-band spectrum with rounded caps.
  • Rings: concentric circles that breathe with the low end and trace the wave.
  • Field: a particle sphere that opens on the bass and shimmers with the rest of the band.

Export for Reels, Shorts and YouTube

9:16 is the tall frame for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. 1:1 is a square post. 16:9 is a widescreen video. All three are MP4 files with your audio inside.

A small audiodrop.app mark sits in the corner. Turn it off if you want the frame empty. The title is optional.
